White Star Line Laundry Bag

An incredibly rare and unique laundry bag from a White Star Line ship.

This artefact offers a unique look behind the scenes onboard a White Star Line vessel. Woven in cotton and embroidered with WSL lettering in red, this laundry bag would have been used by porters to collect used linen and towels from passenger rooms and suites. Items used by crew seldom survive to the modern day, let alone cotton items that were in use for many years, making this one of the rarest White Star Line objects to be found.
